My son likes to watch a TV show called “おかあさんといっしょ”. The show is for kids (mainly for 2-4 years old), and it is full of music and unique characters. The TV show has been on since 1959, and it’s no exaggeration to say that every parent with small kids is familiar with it.
Once it stars, my son glues himself to the TV, and enjoys dancing with the characters. It’s a kids’ program, but the bright smile of the characters and cheerful songs entertains parents as well.
I also used to watch it when I was little. My young mother must have been there beside me. I enjoy watching the show with my son now. I wonder if my son will also watch it with his kids in the future. It really makes me feel the passage of time.
息子の好きなテレビ番組
息子は「おかあさんといっしょ」というテレビ番組が好きだ。主に２歳～４歳を対象とした子供番組で，たくさんの音楽とかわいいキャラクターがいっぱい出てくる。この番組は1959年から放送されていて，小さな子供を持つすべての親が知っていると言っても過言ではない。
番組が始まると，息子はテレビに釘付けになり，キャラクターと一緒にダンスを楽しんでいる。これは子供番組だが，キャラクターの明るい笑顔と陽気な音楽は親も楽しませてくれる。
私も小さな頃，この番組を見ていた。私のそばには，若い私の母親がいたに違いない。今，私は息子と一緒にこの番組を楽しんでいる。将来，息子は息子の子供と一緒にこれを見るのかな。
時間の流れを感じるなぁ。
