My son ate rice with a spoon all by himself for the first time! Just a year ago, he was only drinking milk. I was so happy with his growth that I took a video.

When I said “Well done! Well done!” to him, he proudly scooped the rice into his spoon again.

Soon after that, he put the spoon to the side and started with his hands again. He still prefers eating with his hands.

「上手！上手！」と息子を褒めると，自慢げにもう一度，スプーンでご飯をすくっていた。

しばらくすると，スプーンはテーブルに置いてしまい，手で食べ始めた。彼にとっては，まだ手で食べる方がいいようだ。
